Noggin 17th April 2002 - Dave Gordon's Quiz

A well attended and very busy noggin. Jill ran through the final arrangements for the Nationals with the latest update of events hot off the press from Frikkie in PE. Various pamphlets were available about the venue and tours. Thanks to Nerina for providing photostats of the park entry disc.

A record number of members are going to the nationals from Cape Town - 32 members have booked!

Jill explained the intention to email the newsletter as soon as possible to cut costs of postage, paper, printing etc. The newsletter is currently available in pdf format. A test run was sent to committee members in April. Numerous other marque club magazines, books and TR Register regalia forms were displayed. Our own regalia in the form of golf shirts and sweatshirts were available for purchase.

Dave Gordon conducted the 'Chairmans" Quiz -although more technical and creative than last time, the originality in the answers provided great entertainment. (Was it rigged? -We still want to know why Chris Schultz's team has more questions...). Thanks Dave for donating the wine prizes for the winning team.

The evening concluded at 10.45 pm after coffee and cake (was this birthday cake for Nerina and Geoff?). Thanks to the Setterbergs for a well organized 'first' noggin.
