Triumph at Le Mans

Triumph TR2 #28 Le Mans 1955

The model is a 1:43 British racing green convertible one-seater, with the seat and steering wheel on the right side (most models available in this class are left hand drive). The left seat is entirely filled by a white plastic piece, which also encircles the driver's seat, signifying that the top is down on the Le Mans. The seat is white and the small black dashboard has decals to represent the instrument panel. Intricate wheel spokes are chromed, as is the outline of the windshield and its windshield wipers. A caved-in grey grille lies at the car's front, outlined by a light- blue colour (this was used to identify the car from the front during the original Le Mans 24 hour), underneath is a number plate that reads "PKV376," as does the number plate at the rear.

The number "28" is written in black in the middle of a white circle on the car's bonnet, boot, and sides. The model, with its treaded tyres, is attached to a black base that slopes upward, giving the car a tilted effect in its parked position. The front of the base reads "Triumph TR2 n 28 Le Mans 1955”. The base is covered by a removable clear plastic piece which provides both protection and high-quality display effect.
