Manufactured in Canley - Coventry - 1980 
Imported in 1981 by Alderson & Flitton, Pretoria Along with about 20 other units, was among the first TR7s imported into South Africa - not through Leyland, who did not import until 1982. The new retail price was then R18,000. 
Purchased and registered by Hennie Schnetler, a Pretoria club member in 1981. Sold to Chris Gibbons, then Pretoria chairman, and subsequently purchased by Des Rudolph in 1996; resident in Darling (Cape West Coast). In 1997, the original CA number plate was changed to CK16000. 
Colour: Midas (Champagne) with standard steel wheel rims. 
Possibly the most original (authentic) TR7 amongst Triumph Club South Africa member's cars.
