Lunch at La Masseria
Mama mia, what a fantastic turn out. 16 Triumphs, 7 of them being TR7's celebrating their birthday, and 40 people attended this most popular of events, the annual (at least I hope it remains annual) outing to the very Italian La Masaria restaurant at their new venue in Durbanville. I for one was delighted to discover that the new venue retains much of the originals charm and ambiance and that the homemade bread is as delicious as I remembered it to be.
This Newsletter is too short to list all those who attended but of the "unusuals" there was the recently found Dave and Angie Gordon, Clive and Heletia Oosthuizen had been invited to bring the TR7 out of cobwebs, Des and Edith also put in an always welcome appearance (sorry not to be able to join you in our smoke breaks anymore Des) and a very slimmed down pair of Boss's could also be spotted every time they moved out of the shadows. Tim was there sans Eileen but I never did get to ask him where she was. A thoroughly delightful outing, enjoyed by all who attended. What more can one ask for?
