Cape Classic Safari & Hermanus Whale Run

Despite a windy and wet start to the day the weather held off to allow a very successful run, display and concourse competition sponsored by “No Wet.” Despite 12 members booking only your chairman and secretary turned up to wave the Triumph flag! The event, well organised by televisions “Top Gear” presenter, ensured that we avoided traffic congestion as experienced in previous years.. It also provided a case of deja-vu as our TR4A and sidescreen roared past old 50’s and 60’s Fords, Buiks, MG’s and Morris’ – just like they used to 40 years ago – classic cars as far as the eye could see with TR’s in the fast lane. You missed a good event.
