AGM - 23rd March.

There was an excellent turn out of members for the AGM - perhaps the excitement of having their engine judged as the cleanest by the chairman was the draw card! However, the competition was swept away by Ken Boss in the immaculate TR7 SPIDER. Well done Ken - another winner for the nationals? Gian Mani was encouraged to start cleaning his engine for the nationals as soon as he could!
The meeting started with a moment’s silence for family members who had passed away during the year.

Amendments to the constitution:

1. Clause 3.2 was amended to read ‘Honorary membership should lapse on the member no longer being active in the Club’ (17 to 4 vote)
2. Clause 6.1 was amended to read ‘Club members shall be obliged to pay their subscriptions and uphold the constitution, and shall be encouraged to support the Regional Centre by means of attendance at arranged meetings and outings’ (vote unanimous)

Secretary’s report:
Details of membership were given. The most popular function had been the impromptu year-end party.

Chairman’s report:
This report was included in the March 2002 newsletter.

Election:
New office bearers were elected (refer chairman’s report this newsletter)

Special Item:
Jillian Davis presented Mike and Nerina each with a set of engraved wine glasses as a thank you gesture from the club

General:
Chris Schultz proposed honorary membership for Mike and Nerina - this motion was passed unanimously
